This comes in both a woman’s (page 46) and a man’s (page 52) version. The woman’s version is edged with intarsia bands and is meant to end about halfway between waist and hips. The man’s version is edged with corrugated ribbing and is meant to end below the hips. Only the man’s version requires 4mm needles (for the ribbing).

(For reference, CC1 is the contrast colour in the main pattern, CC2 is the background of the intarsia edging, CC3, CC4, and CC5 are for the diamond shapes in the intarsia edging, and CC6 is the filler colour in between the diamond shapes in the intarsia edging.)

  • woman’s small: 656 yards MC; 480 yards CC1; 240 yards CC2; 120 yards each CC3, CC4, and CC5 (although you likely don’t need full balls of each); 164 yards CC6 (although you’re very unlikely to need the full ball)
  • woman’s medium: 656 yards MC; 600 yards CC1; 360 yards CC2; 120 yards each CC3, CC4, and CC5 (although you likely don’t need full balls of each); 164 yards CC6 (although you’re very unlikely to need the full ball)
  • woman’s large: 820 yards MC; 600 yards CC1; 360 yards CC2; 120 yards each CC3, CC4, and CC5 (although you likely don’t need full balls of each); 164 yards CC6 (although you’re very unlikely to need the full ball)
