This hat is here to remind you to take a deep breath and relax. Om symbols and lotus flowers circle the hat.

Instructions for Mediation are written out in full. However, colorwork patterning is presented in chart form only.

Add length to the hat by working the forehead section a little longer. Alternately, subtract length by shortening the forehead section or leaving out the Mountain Peak Border patterning.

If you take a look at the main chart you will see large areas of only the background color. These rows do still use both yarns. To keep the design clean you will need to twist your yarn every few stitches (I generally do this every 3 stitches). Failing to do so will give you areas with very long floats across the wrong side of your work. You want to avoid long floats for a few reasons: they look unsightly, they catch on things, and they’ll mess up your gauge.
