Mel’s note: This pattern gives directions for four knitted mice, each with accessories (an apron, surfer shorts, sweaters, a skirt, pants, a scarf …) I made each of the outfits from yarns left over from other projects in the book. The mouse is made using short row sock shaping.
The first gauge listed on page 66 is for Classic Elite Lush, from which I made the actual naked mice on size US6 needles (one hank per mouse).
The other gauges listed are for the various outfits. Leftover yarns are ideal as none of the garments uses a full skein of yarn.
