I absolutely love hand knitted socks, the bolder and brighter the better. One of the benefits of living in the wet and gloomy North West of England is that I can pretty much wear hand knit socks all year round without overheating. Occasionally though we do get a brief flash of sunny weather and on those days I still want to wear hand knit socks but I bring out the lace ones. Despite the stigma and my sister’s requests that I stop doing it, I love wearing my socks with sandals so I can show them off in all their glory. These socks were designed to fit into a “comfy but fancy” niche which in all honesty is my ultimate fashion goal.

The pattern comes in 3 cuff widths and 10 foot lengths.

The instructions are mostly in a written format but the lace repeat is given in a charted format.
