Sometimes a special blanket can
remind us of ordinary moments.

Memories of days and nights,
strong textof cuddles and silly stories,
of naps and hugs and kisses,
of laughter and tears.

Memories of little people that
are grown before you know it.

And now they are taking their blanket with them,
. . . really???

This blanket comes in 3 sizes. The throw comes in 2 sizes.

The small is a great size for a newborn or for use as car seat/stroller blanket. It uses only 2 skeins of Malabrigo worsted.

If you prefer a larger blanket there are instructions for medium and large sizes as well. (3 & 4 skeins)

The throw is large enough for napping with your little one and uses 8 & 11 skeins respectively. (Maybe a throw for college!)

If you are familiar with knitting a simple cable, yo, ssk, and k2tog, the pattern should be fairly simple and straight forward.
If you are not familiar with these skills this blanket will be a bit more of a challenge and a good project for learning and practicing new skills! (Adventurous beginner!)

The pattern includes written instructions and a chart.
