Memory Lap Throw by Lorna Miser

Memory Lap Throw

Pattern Description from Faith, Hope, Love, Knitting: “This lap throw is symbolic of the comfort that Laura passes on to so many people: So many lives touched, and a throw with so many yarns mixed together and blended to cozy beauty. One of the projects that our terminally ill friend was working on right before her death was a small blanket that used a wide variety of yarn and colors. When Laura and I were sorting through her yarn and projects, Laura decided to take the half-finished blanket and complete it. The blanket I’ve designed is similar in that it uses many yarns that very not just in weight but in texture. This allows you to choose yarns as you work, making the project completely random and spontaneous to knit.”
