Summary: Mendocino is a round-neck, saddle-shoulder, tunic-length cardigan in stockinette stitch with a cabled yoke area. There is slight shaping to the bust area of the body where the cabled yoke begins.The hemline, collar and buttonbands are worked in Moss stitch, with the buttonbands knitted separately and attached in the finishing stages. The sleeves are worked from the ribbed cuff upwards, finishing with the cable pattern at the top that continues into a cable sadlle for the shoulders.

Skills needed : cable knitting, pick-up stitches, increase and decrease in pattern and saddle shoulder finishing.
