“This bulky, oversized sweater knits up in a flash. This pattern fits an extra-small man (38-to 40-inch chest). Directions to fit small (42-44), medium (46-48), and large (50-52) are in parenthesis.”

You will need a 29-inch-long size 13 circular needle, a 16-inch-long size 13 needle, 1 stitch marker, tape measure, scissors, yarn needle, and a large stitch holder.

The neckline, sleeve cuffs, and bottom hem have knit 1, purl 1 ribbing. The body is worked bottom-up in stockinette stitch on circular needles, worked flat to the shoulders, and then seamed together at the shoulders. The sleeves are worked flat, set in, and then sewn up the sides.
