These mitered fingerless mitts are a different way to make use of self-striping sock yarn. Or use up scraps of fingering weight yarn and make each square different!

There are two sizes, to fit a 7” or an 8” hand. Tweak the needle size or yarn weight/thickness to adjust further.

For these mitts, row gauge is important! Your squares should be square!

If using the yarn called for in the pattern (Patons Kroy FX), you will need two balls.

There are notes in the pattern to adjust the length, as the mitts are fairly long as written. If you choose to alter the length, you might be able to make these with only one ball of Patons sock yarn.
