A Cute, New Twist on a Stocking Cap

This top-down hat is knitted in the round in a checkerboard pattern. Each set of knit stitches has a single cable stitch. Brim is made with 2x2 ribbing from ear to ear, then stockinette stitch in a contrast color to make the roll.

This is a great project to learn how to do cables without having a nervous seizure. The Repetitive one-stitch cable throughout the pattern will make you a cable pro by the end of the hat.
