There are TWO TYPOS in this pattern:

Row 8 should read from the beginning, “Ch 1, 1 sc in first dc. 3 sc in next ch 4 sp………”

Due to my error, a parenthesis was omitted when I copied the pattern from my blog to my new website. Row 9 should read as follows:

ROW 9: Ch 4, 1 sc in 3rd sc from hook. Ch 3, 1 sc in next ch-3 sp. (Ch 3, sk 2 sc, 1 sc in next sc) 3 times. Ch 3, 1 sc in next ch-3 sp, sk next picot, ch 3, 1 sc in next ch 3 sp. (Ch 3, sk 2 sc, 1 sc in next sc) 3 times. Repeat from * to * twice. Ch 3, 1 sc in next ch-3 sp. Ch 3, sk 2 sc, 1 sc in next sc. Ch 3, 1 sc in last sc. Turn.

MATERIALS & DESCRIPTION
Size “I” crochet Hook
1 skein of Caron Simply Soft Yarn in “Soft Pink”

This wrap can be worn in many versatile ways: a bolero, a cowl, a snood, or an elegant shawl. All it takes is a Size “I” crochet hook and one skein of worsted weight yarn.

DIFFICULTY
This shawl is comprised of mostly shell-based stitches. A beginner may look at this pattern as intimidating, however, I do not feel there are any techniques used that would be overwhelming or difficult for a “rookie” crocheter to learn. Please don’t be afraid to try something new and challenging, as this is the best way to improve your technique!
