By using one piece for this vest, I have a lot of ground to cover with crazy-quilt shapes. I always start with a small paper template and lightly pencil in lines until I’m happy with all the angles. Then I transfer them to a life-size fabric template, approximately the same angles. The great thing about redrawing the lines onto the fabric is that they don’t have to be perfect, since I know I’ll just knit whatever angle ends up on the template.

Yarn requirements:
650 (675, 725, 800, 875, 900) total yards

Colors:
Kureyon in color 219 and Nature Wool in color 20; Red Heart Boutique Treasure in color 1919 Watercolors.

Note on sizing: Pick your size and make your life-size template.
