The pattern is written in Canadian/American (English) crochet terms.

MERLIN - is an easy-to-intermediate level pattern

In order to complete the pattern you will need to know how to work in continuous rounds and be familiar with assembling amigurumi (i.e. attaching the arms, legs and eyelids to the body of the crocheted gecko). The stitches used in this pattern are: sc, dc, sc2tog and ss.

The pattern uses a 4.00 mm (G) crochet hook, worsted weight yarn and 10-mm safety eyes (or buttons, or embroidered eyes will work equally well).
