Pattern Description

There is nothing more enchanting than the idea of beautiful mermaids living under the surface of the sea in a magical underwater world. This is how I imagine they look.

Yarn Requirements

• Doll--1 50g ball of Jaeger Baby Merino 4-Ply in light pink
• Hair--1 50g ball of Rowan All Seasons Cotton in tangerine
• Tail--1 50g ball of Rowan Summer Tweed in light green
• Tail fins--small amount of Rowan Cashcotton DK in pale blue
• Waist ruffle and tail scallops--small amount of Rowan 4-Ply cotton in coral
• Tankini--small amount of Jaeger Baby Merino 4-Ply in tangerine

Gauge Information

• Doll, tail fins, and tankini--30st/38 rows=4in in stockinette stitch using US 2 needles
• Tail--16st/23rows=4in in stockinette stitch using US 8 needles

Additional Materials

• Scraps of felt in white, green, and light pink
• Stranded cotton embroidery thread in black, light pink, light blue, pale pink, red, and pale coral
• Polyester toy stuffing
