Brioche knitting is very fascinating for me. I worked some of the gorgeous patterns from Katrin Schubert.

These fingerless mitts are knitted top-down in the round. It begins with two-color Brioche knitted in the round creating a circle motif. After this a long warm part with the bobble yarn follows. This is knitted in stockinette st on WS. The purled side with the bobbles is RS.

One mitt can also be used as a dress for a doll.

I dare the experiment of charting Brioche. I’m a chart knitter and I think that written instructions are very error-prone. A chart gives an impression of the finished item’s appearance. I used the standard knitting symbols and assigned them a new similar definiton. This works well for this simple pattern.
