LovingLea Created’s Standard Messy Bun Hat and Poof Ball Beanie PATTERN by Mindy Lea

This is a PDF crochet pattern, has 830kb, 5 pages, in US standard abbriviation and pictures to aid in instruction.

This hat PATTERN will fit a 20-22 inch head, instructions are included to make it smaller or larger, and uses one Skein or up to 100yards of yarn.

This is the pattern Mindy Designed for a majority of her Messy Bun Hats she sells on Etsy and was adapted to make a Poof Ball Beanie. The Poof Ball Beanie adaption is included in this pattern.

If you are familiar with Back Loop and Front Loop crochet you should have no problem with this pattern. The hardest part is single crocheting around the band and there are pictures to aid in where to put the single crochet stitches.

You can use several brands of yarn for this project in a medium 4 weight.

What you will need:
100 yards of yarn in medium 4 weight
I Hook 5.50mm
Scissors
Needle to weave in the ends

You will also need to know how to make a Poof or puff ball for the top of the beanie. If you don’t know how, there are many great videos on YouTube. That’s how Mindy learned to make one. YouTube is awesome for about anything you want to learn.
