Metallurgy is a single-skein scarf or cowl designed for Malabrigo Quickies.

Inspired by wrought iron and other metalwork, Metallurgy is a cable and lace accessory that’s fun to knit and wear.

Scarf as shown was knit from a single skein of Malabrigo Yarn Arroyo. Cowl as shown was knit from a single skein of Malabrigo Yarn Rasta.

The pattern includes both charts and full written instructions and has been test knit and tech edited.

Other recommended yarns include Malabrigo Yarn Sock and Malabrigo Yarn Worsted.

US #5 (3.75mm) needles, circular or straight for scarf
US #13 (9mm) needles, circular or straight for cowl
Malabrigo, Arroyo (100% superwash merino; 335yds/306m, 100g/3.5oz skein), colour 43 Plomo: 1 skein for scarf
Malabrigo, Rasta (100% superwash merino; 90yds/82m, 150g/5.25oz skein), colour 856 Azules: 1 skein for cowl
