Once again, we are proud to share with your this beautiful design by Andrea Yetman for Biscotte Yarns!

As soon as I seen Biscotte’s Metamorph Yarn I knew I had to make a simple Tee with the main focus being on the beautiful gradient color of the yarn. Featuring a beautiful lace trim, slightly cropped and wide fit with a snug short sleeve. The Metamorphic Tee is an easy, enjoyable knit for all skill levels. Watching the color of this yarn ever so gradually change is pure enjoyment”. - Andrea

PATTERN NOTES

The front and back are worked separately, flat, from the bottom up. The sides are seamed, leaving an opening for the sleeves, and the shoulders are binded off using the 3 Needle Bind Off. Stitches are picked up around the armhole edge and knit in the round. This tee is meant to be worn with 4-10 inches of positive ease around the bust with a fitted sleeve.

How to use the yarn: When you have reached the end of the ball and need to start a new one, pull the yarn from the middle of the ball to continue to knit with the same color you ended off with. For the sleeves, you can choose to knit from any section of the ball that you like. For the sample, almost a full skein was used for the entire back and almost the same for the front. There was a little left over to use for the neckline, keeping the color the same. For the sleeves, the yarn was pulled from the middle of a new ball to start the sleeves off with the same color the top of the tee ended with. A new ball was used for the second sleeve so that the color of the sleeves is the same. There is plenty of yarn left over to knit a pair of matching Metamophic socks!!
