Everything changes. Nothing stays the same. Even rock and stone, deep within the earth, become something new over time.

Metamorphic is a henley-style sweater designed for ALL AGES! It is worked from the top down with additional neck shaping and raglan increases. Just as metamorphic rocks shift and change deep within the earth, so do the colors of the sweater. Stranded colorwork begins after the sleeves have been separated. Use similar colors to create a gradual change and a subtle ombre effect, or contrasting colors to highlight the color shifts and create a more striking look. A perfect introduction for those who are new to stranded knitting, this sweater is fun for knitters of all levels.
