This is my very first MKAL I designed. The name of the pattern is inspired by the design elements in one of the clues. The pattern, a triangle shawl, is a bit experimental, combining texture, short rows, and stitch patterns to keep everyone of all skill levels entertained. All it takes is two different color skeins of sock yarn that are at least 400 yards. Maybe you want to use those lovely two skeins you’ve been saving for a special project? This could be that project!

Two Skeins of Black Trillium Fibres: Merilon Sock (75% Superwash Merino Wool/25% Nylon. 425 yards).
• Color A: Happy Knits PDX Exclusive: Roco’s Modern Tweed (370 yards used.)
• Color B: Lightning Bug (370 yards used.)
US 4 60” circular needle
Four Stitch markers.
Tapestry Needle

About 67” in wingspan and 30” from cast on to deepest point.

19 sts and 36 rows every 4” in stockinette.

PATTERN NOTES: Read the pattern to familiarize yourself with construction before beginning. Each shein of yarn had about 50 yards of leftovers each, so check your gauge so you don’t run out of yarn.
