I was inspired to design this shawl during a recent visit to Miami and its beaches.

In Southern Florida, it can be really warm outside, but once you enter air conditioned buildings, it can feel rather chilly! Therefore, it is nice to throw a shawl over your shoulders.

The Cascade Ultra Pima Cotton is the perfect yarn for this shawl. In addition to its wonderful feel and workability, it has fantastic colors that remind me of the vibrancy of Miami Beach.
