Inspiration comes from different places all the time. This one came from a friend in Michigan, telling me how she loved yellow because it was happy. Beyond that I love the “flower Stitch”, which is also utilized in this pattern. The odd shape comes into play for creating a weaved look. This changes how the scarf lies, and is very charming. You can take the narrow end and weave it through the holes on the wide end.

In this sock weight yarn, it is very light to wear on the brisk mornings of summer, fall, or spring. Who doesn’t love a scarf for all seasons.

I hope you enjoy this pattern with your striped yarn or solid. A solid will make the flowers a little less noticeable. If you have any concerns or problems, please let me know; Inspiration on my cancer brain is a very fascinating place and I’d be happy to share with you and explain what my thought process was.

This pattern used an entire skein, so take that into consideration as you do your gauge swatch.

Thank you for your purchases in advance.
