This scarf is knit with a simple combination of knit and purl stitches, creating a reversible fabric. Two sets of buttons increase the number of ways you can wear the scarf. Use the first set of buttons to wear your scarf as a cowl, revealing one side of the pattern. Use the second set to wear the scarf as a wrap around your shoulders, revealing the other side.

This scarf fits adults and children.

This pattern includes a cheat sheet that you can use to keep track of your progress.

2 skeins Madelinetosh tosh dk in Butter; 225 yds / 206 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g skein; 100% superwash merino wool

Needles & Notions

  • Size 7 US / 4.5 mm needles, straights or circulars
  • 6 7/8 - 1” / 2.25 - 2.5 cm buttons, all alike, or 2 sets of 3 matching buttons
