This pattern is from Charming Colorwork socks: 25 Delightful Knitting Patterns for Colorful, Comfy Footwear. Released 20th September in America, Canada (Europe and other continents a few weeks later) and available now as a digital ebook worldwide.

The midnight in Zermatt socks are perfect for wearing while hiking up a mountain, after a day of skiing or for relaxing by a cozy fire with a warm cup of cocoa. These socks are named after the magical village of Zermatt in the Swiss Alps, which famously sits under the majestic Matterhorn mountain. Inspired by the colors of the town in winter, with its dark blue night sky and purple streets below covered in glistening snow, these socks have a simple, easy-to-knit colorwork motif reminiscent of the mountain peaks.

Construction Notes
Knit from the top down with a ribbed cuff, this sock has a simple graphic colorwork pattern on the leg which is then repeated just before the toe. Knit with three colors, these socks have a ribbed heel flap and gusset.
