This simple and modern shawl combines color blocks with knit and purl sections that run diagonally across the shawl. The shawl is worked sideways from cast on tip to the bind off row, increasing stitches at the beginning of right side rows. Simple i-cord bind off adds a nice finishing touch.

The pattern includes a photo tutorial for i-cord bind off and a few extra templates for color planning.
