These knit whatzits are soft furry friends that have a tummy pocket to hide a treat or a secret. This pattern is written for sock yarn but can be knit in a variety of sizes by simply varying your yarn weight and adjusting your needle size accordingly.
Choose an acrylic yarn if you want your Pocket Pal to be machine washable. Whatever yarn you choose, check the label and use a needle one or two sizes smaller than is recommended. Your stitches should be nice and tight to keep the stuffing inside. This Pocket Pal is a fun way to use up sock yarn in your stash and will surely bring joy to whomever receives it!
