Crochet Pattern - Milla (Alfie Atkins friend)

I just love the books about Alfie Atkins. He is a fictional character created by the swedish author Gunilla Bergstöm. Alfie Atkins have an imaginary friend named Malcolm (Moggie in English TV-version), that only Alfie can see and some real friends such as Milla and Victor (Viktor).

Alfie and Malcolm from my previous crochet pattern seemed sad about something. When we asked them what was wrong they told us that they longed for their friend Milla. A few weeks later she was standing next to a happy Alfie and a happy (but also a little jealous) Malcolm.

The crochet pattern “Milla” is a detailed pattern, written in English with US crochet terminology.
It consists of 2 PDF:

1. Written Crochet Pattern, 10 pages including a lot of pictures showing you how to do.
2. A list of suggested yarns substitutions for Järbo Soft Cotton

Size:
Finished size is approx 35 cm (13,8 inches) from head to toe

Yarn:
Aran / 10 ply (I have used Järbo Soft Cotton)

Other material:
Felt or fabric for the eyes
Black sewing thread for Alfie.
Fabric glue (optionally)
Stuffing (I usually buy cheap pillows and use the stuffing from them)
Tapestry Needle and sewing needle

You will also need a Sewing Machine to zig-zag around the eyes.

Crochet Hook:
3 mm, US- D, UK- 11 or the hook size you need to obtain gauge 21 stitches x 24 rows = 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm)
1,5 mm (or smallest size of crochet hook you have)
