Millenial is a super cool cowl that’s also a hat, making it the perfect accessory for everyday living. Simply loosen the draw string and tug it down for a cowl. Pull the draw string tight and pull it up for a hat! Awesome.

The pattern is offered in two forms: as a clever slipped stitch check - for a more sophisticated look, and in a simple stockinette - perfect for a precious skein of stashed away variegate!

Size is easily adjusted by increasing c/o in multiples of 4 stitches.
I’ve also included directions on where to stop if you just want a beanie. How cool is that!

This is Hat #9 in the 12 Hats of Christmas KAL going on in the Criminal Knits…for the Serial Knitter in all of us. Group. Come join us for all the mayhem and laughter!

Materials:
Size 7 circs 16” and Size 7 dpns
Yarn - all yarn listed is Worsted Weight.
For the checkered version:
1 skein 220 yds your MC (main color)
1/2 skein or less CC1
1/2 skein or less CC2
The amounts for CC1 & CC2 really depend on what colors you choose to work your I-cord and pom poms in.
For the solid version you will need almost all of a 220 yd skein of a variegate. Or you could use up small balls of left over and just stripe it!
Go wild, it will be awesome!
