Slip stitches and a double layer create an eye-catching and cosy design. This cowl works as a terrific stash buster and is also fabulous with variegated or self-striping yarns.

NOTE: Use either 8ply/DK or 10ply/worsted. Gauge is not critical to this pattern.

The strong geometry on the first side that will appeal to many men, as well as stylish women. Kids love it too. The reverse side offers a wealth of alternatives - repeat the mosaic, knit it plain, or knit it with stripes. You can be assured that you won’t get bored.

Millie’s Cowl is great for stash busting as you can use up scraps of yarn without worrying too much about the ends - they are all hidden between the two layers. It’s also great for last-minute gift knitting - once you know the pattern it’s a very quick knit.
