With stranded color work and seamless construction these quick to knit mitts would be a great introduction to knitting with two colors.

Notes: One skein of the main color and one skein of the contrast color will be enough to work both the hat and mitts. Mitts are worked in the round to the thumb, which is worked back and forth in rows to create the opening. Stitches are picked up around the thumb to finish.

Skills required: Cast on, bind off, knit, purl, stranded colorwork, knitting through the back loop, knitting in the round on double pointed needles.

Finished Measurements: 7.5in (19cm) hand circumference and 8.75in (22.5cm) long
