This pattern is available from purlalpacadesigns.com for £5.00.

The cable pattern is different on every row and there are 24 rows to be repeated. If you wish to shorten this jumper, do so just after the hem and start on a higher number of the row counts.

Various techniques are used to make this sweater including quite a complicated cable pattern, short row shaping and three needle cast off. The body is knitted in two pieces, the sleeves and neck in the round. I have also made one in black and I changed the roll neck to a smaller needle. Liking it better, I have changed the neck on the pattern too so it’s a tighter stitch than the image shown in ivory. If you prefer the looser stitch, don’t change needle size.
