This is a pattern for a cat designed double knit potholder. The double knitting creates a double thick fabric which is good for protecting hands and counters.

Each side is worked stockinette stitch on both sides. It includes my own method for cast-off which creates a solid unified looking edge.

The pattern pdf includes:
• Photo of finished item (front and back)
• Supply list
• Abbreviations
• Pictures of Color options (Primarily based on Sugar N Cream Yarns)
• Written instruction
• 2 Color Charts - One for each side (while knitting even & odd rows)
• 4 Uncolored charts of design to test out your own color combinations with color pencils or to ‘print screen’ and paste into Microsoft paint to pour color into the squares. 2 charts are for the front and back of a 2-color design and 2 charts are for the front and back of a 3-color design.

Yardage Requirements: Lily Sugar ‘N Cream, 4-ply cotton yarn

• 3-color Design: White 33 yards, Black 59 yards, Pink 30 yards
• 2-color Design: 59 yards of each color
