This pattern is suitable for an intermediate crocheter.
The download includes two patterns, one with UK and the other with US crochet terms.
The instructions are clear and have the stitch count for each row. There is a link to a video tutorial. There are also photo tutorials for some of the less basic stitches.
There is no gauge as such for this shawl, just adjust your hook size to get a fabric that you are happy with.
Materials - For the three colour option you will need approx 100g of 4ply/fingering weight yarn in each of your 3 chosen colours. For the 2 colour option you will need approx 150g of 4ply/fingering weight yarn in each of your 2 chosen colours.
This pattern is very flexible and alternative weights of yarn can be used. Just adjust your hook size and quantities accordingly.
