PATTERN DETAILS

Mindful has a classic triangular shawl shape with increases on each side of the middle stitch and next to the three side stitches. It is knit in two colored and one colored garter stitch. No advanced knitting, just mindfulness all the way through.

Use either fingering or sport weight yarn.

Yarn
Option 1: Merino d’Arles (50g = 200m). Two skeins á 50g of color A and three skeins of color B. Sample shawl is knitted in Merino d’Arles in colors Brebis (A) and Ocre (B).
Option 2: Cheeky Merino Joy or Dandelion Rosy Sport (100g = 320m). One skein á 100g of color A and two skeins of color B.

Needles
100 cm circular needles 3,5-3,75 mm, or the size you need to obtain gauge. I’ve used needles 3,75 mm for Merino d’Arles and 3,5 mm for Cheeky Merino Joy.

Gauge (after blocking)
22 stitches and 34 rows is 10x10 cm. Please be aware that the amount of yarn needed is affected by the gauge. Garter stitch tends to grow quite a lot after soaking in water, it is highly recommended to swatch before casting on for the shawl.

Size
Approx. 215 cm along the top edge and 62 cm from top down.

Other
Two stitch markers plus one removable stitch marker
