Mini Cakes is designed to use up your mini cakes of fingering weight yarn. Use an assortment of yarns to create a striped, colorwork, parallelogram scarf. This design is cast on and knit sideways using stockinette, and reverse stockinette stitches. Follow the sample scarf color sequence or use your own color scheme. You will need a minimum of 800 yards of fingering weight yarn, 100 yards of each color. To make a larger scarf, just continue knitting. After blocking, the edges gently curl and the panels create a corrugated fabric. Note: Because of the large number of stitches on your needles, you should work back and forth using a circular needle that is at least 32 inches long. Enjoy!
