This is a small afghan inspired by the Doctor Who TARDIS although it does not include the words at the top of the TARDIS and the form of the box is not identical to the TARDIS. The baby afghan has 4 window panes as opposed to 6 on the full size TARDIS and 6 “blocks” as opposed to the 8 on the original.

Stitches needed are chain, single crochet and double crochet. Pattern is a filet crochet chart. It is symmetrical so can be read from either direction. The sample is worked in 3dc mesh but foundation chain is given for both 3 and 4dc mesh.

Yarn color should be a medium blue, such as Red Heart Super Saver Royal Blue or Vanna’s Choice Sapphire. Knit Picks Brava has a color called Celestial that I think would also work well but I have not seen it in person.

Finished size is approx 26” x 31”.
