I had never thought about making a pattern for babies and kids until one day one of the testers, who originally was going to test Grey Diamond Forever, mentioned about the cardigans for her girls. I was skeptical and nervous if I was able to develop the pattern.

Fortunately several ladies were fearless enough to raise their hands to help me for testing. This pattern had never be possible without these excellent testers. Applause and standing ovation to them!

This cute cardigan is a small version of Grey Diamond Forever for adults.

It is worked from the top down with raglan shoulders in one piece. The front and the sleeves are decorated by an open lace, which forms a unique diamond shape. The folded hem on the bottom, the neckline and cuffs add elegant details to this beautifully tailored cardigan.
The front neck is lowered for the size 4 and 6 years old, while the smaller sizes have the straight neck.

Materials: US #4(3.5mm), 5(3.75mm) 16”(40cm) and longer circular needles, US #4(3.5mm), 5(3.75mm) dpn, Tapestry needle, 4 markers, 2-3 buttons
