I used Caron Simply Soft 100% acrylic in Mango colorway. These are really fast to make so you still have time before Halloween.

I used Judy’s Magic Loop Cast-On the same way I do for toe-up socks except I did 2 rounds even knit then only 1 increase round. They are fun to make.
