This beautiful soft yarn is 455 silk and 55% merino and has a beautiful sheen and fantastic drape. It is hand wash only so suitable for a blanket which is mainly used decoratively or as a throw on a sofa. The combination of striking rich colours make this a wonderful centrepiece for any room.

Chevron stripes are created by combining colour work with shaping techniques to create a wavy striped pattern. Shaping is spaced evenly across the row, alternating between decreasing and increasing to create the undulations. The position of each increase and decrease is maintained vertically on every other row. It is simpler than it looks!
