Two hats in this PDF, each a bit different than the other.
In plenty of time for Holiday knitting….

The first is a classic cap with a 70s vibe - close fitting, worn low on the forehead and snug over the ears.

The second is a modified slouch, not exactly a beret, but with that extra room for a modern shape. This one is worn back on the forehead, maybe off to the side a bit.

Both designs are written in 3 sizes, with directions for adjusting for other weights or yarns. The slouch can be also be altered for less or more “slouchiness” - so you can create a beret or a cap if desired.

Both are good patterns for a beginner/advanced beginner.

These were designed specifically for the Plucky Knitter’s new worsted weight wool yarn - Plucky Rustic! Keep your eyes out for its release soon. It’s a lofty wool, in a perfect midweight. A great choice for go-to sweaters and accessories that’ll get tons of wear. Think great basic yarn in anything-but-basic colorways!
