I call this the Minyan Kippah as it is a quick knit, so I could make enough to give them as gifts to all the members of the minyan, yet it produces a fine enough fabric to be a dress kippah.

I am publishing this as a free pattern, but I hope that downloaders will also support my Jimmy Fund Marathon Walk to raise funds for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute -- a world-class center of compassionate care and ground-breaking research. Just go to http://www.jimmyfundwalk.org/2011/bethk

Small variations in gauge are unimportant. Change needle sizes to adjust the size of the finished kippah.

Yardage required is approximately 25 meters for each of the main colors and 5 meters for the contrast color.
