What am I missing?
Mirabilis
A spiral-tastic baby blanket! Alternating between stockinette stitch and simple fishnet lace, this blanket grows in the form of a logarhythmic spiral, or “spira mirabilis.” Spirals like these occur in nature as the arms of cyclones, the paths of hawks to their prey and moths to light bulbs, and even in the nerves in our eyes.
Skills required:
Knitting in the round, yarn-over, knit 2 together, casting on in the middle, provisional cast on, and grafting. (Don’t worry, you only need to graft 5 stitches!)
