Inspired by It girl, Miroslava Duma, this hat is the drama but none of the fuss. For ultimate fluffiness, use four strands of Debbie Bliss Angel and one strand of Drops Alpaca held together. The combination of mohair, silk, and alpaca fibers creates a fabric that’s sturdy, warm, yet incredibly lightweight all at the same time.

MATERIALS

  • 1 ball Drops Alpaca in Dark Purple #4400, 50g, 167m/182yds
  • 5mm 16” circular needles or 5mm double pointed needles
  • 6.5mm 16” circular needles and/or 6.5mm double pointed needles
  • Stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle

P2tog: Position the needle as if to purl a single stitch, except insert the needle through two loops. Purl the 2 stitches together as if they were one stitch.
