A simple hat, worked from the brim up, incorporating elongated stitches, a pattern reconstructed from instructions for a Victorian couvrette, and a provisional cast on which is later seamed to keep ears toasty! Clear written instructions are provided, with options to add extra slouch.

The name refers to collections of poetry and literary tidbits. Just as these books are drawn together from unlikely sources, so Miscellanea is something of a mixed bag.
