For my son’s preschool Teacher Appreciation Week, I wanted to knit a few cowl infinity scarves for the ladies who manage his class. I especially wanted the styles and colors to be different from each other so they could pick out their favorites. There are only four women, so it was a pretty manageable task. I was delighted with each design and want to make them all in every color!

This is the “Miss Ellen,” named for my son’s main teacher. It is a gorgeous twist stitch, lays flat, looks lovely from both sides, is SO simple to memorize, and resembles a herringbone texture. I want to use it in everything now! I look forward to working a variegated version of this scarf, as I doubt the subtle texture will downplay the coloration, nor do I think it will it be a disappointment should the yarn overpower the stitch pattern a bit. Any DK weight yarn should work quite nicely.

See the “Miss Maia,” “Miss Brittany,” and “Miss Hayley” for the other three designs!
