Miss Lindy
The leaves in this shawl grow slowly but surely as they reach for the edge. The deceptively-simple lace technique increases with each repetition, creating an arched rainbow shawl shape. The pattern is named for a family favorite book character: Lindy, the imaginative youngest child in the Last of the Very Great Whangdoodles. Like the many-colored leaves of Whangdoodleland, the shawl can sway in the breeze and create a sense of wonder and comfort at the same time.
