This scarf is enormous and hugely indulgent. You can wear it many different ways for effortless style! It is very cosy when wrapped around and around your neck or looks very dressy when draped around your shoulders. If you want to take it off, it folds up really small so you can put it in your hand bag. The chosen yarn does not crease, is really soft and comes in amazing colours.
This project is made using simple stitches. The border is worked first from a provisional cast on. The border section has plain garter stitch rows in the pattern which speeds up the lace knitting. An increase row worked after the border but before the lace effortlessly eases the lace around the bottom of the crescent. The garter stitch crescent is worked from the bottom up, from the base of the knitted border section. A special and easy cast off method gives a soft stretchy edge to the top of the crescent. This construction method gives no tight edges to the knitting which makes it easier to block.
