These fingerless mittens are worthy of any Edwardian lady out with her sketchbook and box of paints. Make them in a solid or variegated yarn, in wool, silk or anything in between. Just as you please, Miss Potter.

The elegant design beautifully shapes the line of wrist and hand. The edging flares slightly with each picot like a tiny rosebud. These mittens knit up quickly to make a great gift. Lengthen the wrist for a glamorous look or shorten it for daytime chic.

Any of the above yarns would be suitable. Approx 50g ball used with left overs.

Note: This pattern is similar to that published in Yarn Forward, minus the errata and with some simplifications. The provisional cast on has been changed in favour of a picot cast on.
