There are three colourways given for the beret.  The first two use the Fair Isle chart given, and yarn as follows:

1st Colourway

Butterscotch 272, Sheer 267, Oceanic 285, Graze 286, Glory 273, Brilliant 274, Foxy 275, and Mulled Wine 279

2nd Colourway

Shrew 265, Sheer 267, Highlander 266, Butterscotch 272, Foxy 275, Blessed 269, Explode 277, Radiant 276

For both Fair Isle schemes, the pattern states 1 25g ball of each color is required.

The Third Color Variation is for a Striped Beret.  The pattern calls for 2 balls of Knight 281 and 1 ball of Bristle 278.  Since the total yardage for this colourway is 360 yards, the Fair Isle schemes probably do not use the entire ball of each colour.

This pattern book is out of print, but still available at some LYS and on Amazon from affiliated sellers.
