♥ Cute’n’Cuddly series ♥

Do you know those days when you should have more than only 2 hands? When you don’t know where to start and what to do next? - Don’t worry, there’s help in sight! Sit down, take a deep breath, and relax - Mister Miller, the Problem Solver will take care of everything for you! :)

Mister Miller is a bundle of energy! Because he has 4 instead of only 2 hands, he can do several things at once! Put him into the chaos - and he will manage everything! (Well, maybe he has his own concept about what order means… g)

This PDF crochet pattern includes detailed instructions and pictures to help you create the little monkey. (The pattern for the banana on the last pic is not included - it is available as a free download on my blog - the link is included.)

Like all other figures from the “Cute’n’Cuddly”-series - the little monkey was designed to feel particularly soft, fluffy and cuddly. In this series no craft eyes or other materials which could be choking hazards for small children are used, so the little soft critters can be the perfect pals for little babies as well!

Skills level: easy.
Required skills:

  • starting the round with an adjustable ring (“Magic Ring”)
  • work in the round (continuous spirals)
  • change colors
  • increases with single crochet
  • decreases with single crochet
  • stitches: chain, slip stitch, single crochet
  • stuff parts with filling
  • sew openings close, sew parts together (join parts)
  • basic embroidery skills (eyes, nose, belly button)

Languages at choice:
* Deutsch (German)

Measures:
The monkey on the cover picture is about 21 cm (8 inches) tall from top to toe, the tail is about 24 cm (9.5 inches) long. DK 8-ply acrylic yarn and hook size 3.5 mm were used for making him. (When using worsted weight yarn he will turn out up to twice as tall.) Please note: Finished size and shape will always depend on crochet style, yarn type and hook size.
